We all want to live an adventurous life. A life that is worth telling - a FULL life.
What many of us sadly do not realize is how adventurous and FULL our lives would be if we just said "yes" to Jesus. And two weeks ago, I said "yes."
I spent 6 days with over 300 young men and women with different special needs in a beautiful wooded-land known as Lost Canyon. My mighty team (Santa Barbara Young Life Capernaum) consisted of 6 friends and 5 leaders (me included).
We zip lined, "Mega -swinged", swam, water slide(d)?, danced, gamed, gazed, listened, and talked. It was a week FULL of opportunity for an exciting life. But, more than all of these activities, we were able to dive into relationship with each other and Jesus.
I walked away from camp blessed and humbled. It was a great reminder that Jesus does make our lives adventurous. We only need to say "yes."
So, thank you. Thank you for those who prayed. Thank you for those who supported and continue to support me and my friends in Young Life. And thank you Jesus for being constant, present, and powerful.
