Getting Our Hair Did - Young Life Style

Every Tuesday night for the last year and half I have been blessed by some pretty amazing people. Yep. The most loving, patient, inspiring, and joyful people on this planet. My Young Life friends.

These men and women bring me closer to Jesus. They reveal that this world is upside down in it's priorities.

I am constantly reminded that we live in a world divided. I pray that I continue to have a passion to break those barriers. I pray that I continually pursue love, service, and selflessness. I pray that I am wiling to get crazy, let down my barriers, and meet Jesus where He wants me.

With that said... here are some pictures from our CRAZY Hair Club.

Enjoy.

Mark 25:40
"‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"

Amen.

Ryan Caddell: A Man Worth Celebrating

On May 12th, 1986 a great man was born. His name... Ryan Caddell.

This last weekend we had the privilege of celebrating his birth by running around Skofield park with croquet mallets, picnic lunches, and adventure discs. Yes... adventure discs. And they are epically adventurous.

Anyway...

Ryan has been my roommate for over a year and I can only sing praises of his character, intelligence, and extreme manliness. I will be forever grateful for our friendship.

To Ryan Caddell:

May you continue to be better than everyone else.

God bless, my friend.

Disneyland... Yes it is the Happiest Place on Earth

I like Disneyland.

Now for those who know me, this is no surprise. I wouldn't say I am an expert in everything Disney, but I definitely appreciate what this place can bring to those who make the financial sacrifice to venture through its gates.

I enjoy the smile that comes to my face when I rush on the tracks of Big Thunder Mountain. And the satisfaction that comes from taking a bite of mint-chip ice cream. And the excitement that comes from discovering another hidden Mickey

* For those who don't know, Disneyland has hidden Mickey Mouse faces throughout the park. I know... AWESOME!!!

Most of all, I appreciate the break this place gives me from the stress that can build up over the many work hours.

Anyway...

Last Monday, I was invited to go to Disneyland with two very special people, Christi and Amanda. This was an offer I could not turn down. So, I took the day off, picked up my fellow Disneyland-fanatics and ventured down to Anaheim. Our day in the magical kingdom was quite different from our typical Monday. Here are some images from our adventure...

And to my other Disneyland going friends... you were missed.
